Judges
Judges may seem like a story of unfaithfulness and decline, but it’s actually a deeply encouraging book about God’s faithfulness to His people—showing how when Israel cried out, God raised up judges who revived their memory of His past faithfulness and delivered them, demonstrating that help came through the Spirit’s power rather than human strength. The judges themselves were often unlikely heroes—ordinary people God chose to accomplish extraordinary things, reminding your group that God works through weakness and humility, not just the strong and capable. Studying Judges together invites you to recognize God’s patient, compassionate presence in your own struggles and seasons of spiritual wandering, showing that returning to Him is always possible and that He meets us with grace.
This 10 week co-ed class will be led by Dr. Matt Hogan on Wednesday evenings 6:30pm - 8pm, starting Sept 16th - Nov 18th. No cost for this study!

The Gospel Of John
Wednesday Mornings
John’s Gospel distinguishes itself from Matthew, Mark, and Luke by emphasizing the spiritual dimensions of Jesus’ ministry and presenting profound theological truths about Jesus as the Son of God and the Word made flesh. The book features Jesus’ famous “I Am” statements—declarations like “I am the bread of life,” “I am the light of the world,” and “I am the resurrection and the life”—through which He reveals His divine nature and mission. Beyond these striking proclamations, John includes Jesus’ extended teachings about being the true vine and His farewell discourse to the disciples, all while emphasizing the central theme of belief—calling readers to put their faith in Jesus as the Son of God and the only source of eternal life. Studying John offers rich material for discussion and personal reflection on what it means to truly know and follow Him.

Colossians
Wednesday Evenings
As you gather to study Colossians together, you’re opening a letter written with genuine care—Paul’s words overflow with pastoral warmth and concern, even though he had never personally met the Colossian believers. The church in Colossae faced a timeless struggle: competing ideas were shaping their faith more than Scripture itself, and Paul wrote to address false teachings creeping into their community. What makes this letter so relevant for you is that Paul points the Colossians—and us—to Jesus Christ as completely sufficient, helping you recognize where cultural pressures and subtle distortions might be pulling you away from Christ’s centrality in your own life and faith community.
